A beautiful 'Hello'
Maybe to my future self or somebody else who must have stumbled on this page from my diary.
Today when I climb these familiar stairs, something is different. Maybe it's this untold comfort of being at this place which holds fragrance of all seasons of my life.
One of the many reasons that makes me fall in love with this place is the radiance of energy of so many people around me. (Kehne ko toh log hi hai, but mehsoos kar sake koi bahut si unkahi kahaniya hai - #cliche ). The only perk of stepping into your coffee shop alone is your magical ability to seize the moment and get lost observing people in the crowd around you.
Like today, I am actually eavesdropping the beautiful conversations that is brewing on the table right next to me. Quite unapologetically, I couldn't stop myself from being unseen part of their energy.
Long story short, this table is being occupied by four ladies. Two of them happen to be beautiful mothers of teenage daughters. Now, how can I not stop by to admire this sight.
They are actually celebrating birthday. Both the teenage girls seem to share the same equation like their mothers. Mind you, its not 2 VS 2 going on here. If we just not let their age come into picture, this seems like four friends celebrating life together. From makeup to boyfriends, from taste of coffee to memory of shopping down the streets- this table actually seems to be lost in a world of conversations that seems like a paradise.
Right now, I just want to be in that spot where I occupy the same table with my daughter, my best friend and of course her daughter. For many people this wouldn't be anything special. However, for someone who never met her mom's childhood friends or someone who has never seen female friendship last for all seasons of life - this is one dream that deserves to be true .
A trip with friends, brunch date with girlfriends or a simple catch up that becomes mandatory - not just before marriage but also after becoming super cools moms is what our hearts should manifest.
So, Universe- I know you know that- I want this. Please manifest this episode in my life and I promise to be grateful to you. (Actually you know what - make this a living reality in women's life and I promise we will be grateful to you)
